Day 2 – The second day enjoy an excursion to the Citadel of Saladin and Mohamed Ali’s Alabaster Mosque, the latter is in the Ottoman style, built in such a way that it can be seen from all over Cairo.
Next, we move on to Babylon’s Fortress to visit the St Sergio’s church with the Crypt where the Holy Family took refuge, the Suspended church, which is rich in antiquities from the early Christian era, and the St Barbara’s Church, where the relics of Saint John are preserved.
From there you will be transferred to visit Khan el Khalili, the famous Cairo Bazaars and open Market which date back to the fourteenth century. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Makadi Bay.
